Built From the Ground Up
A story of survival, purpose, and community.
I wasn't born into comfort—I was shaped by survival.
I grew up near downtown Juárez, where life didn't wait for you to be ready. It pushed you. Tested you. Forced you to grow up faster than you should. My world was small but heavy—raised by a single mother who carried more than anyone should have to, yet never let me feel like I had less. I watched her fight every single day, not with words, but with sacrifice. And even when things were uncertain, she made sure I believed something better was possible.
But belief alone doesn't change your life. Action does.
Coming to the United States wasn't just a move—it was a decision to rewrite my story. I had to adapt, learn, and rebuild myself in an environment that didn't slow down for anyone. There were moments of doubt, moments where everything felt stacked against me, where the pressure to succeed wasn't just personal—it was generational. I wasn't just doing it for me. I was doing it for where I came from.
And then life added another layer.
Being diagnosed with MS forced me to confront something deeper than struggle—uncertainty within my own body. It challenged my strength in ways I never expected. There were days when even simple things felt heavy. Days when I questioned how far I could really go. But those same days taught me something powerful: resilience isn't about never falling—it's about refusing to stay down.
Every challenge became part of my foundation.
That's why I built this app.
Not just as a product—but as proof. Proof that where you start does not define where you end. Proof that pain, struggle, and setbacks can be transformed into purpose. Every feature, every detail, every decision behind this app carries a piece of my journey—of a kid from Juárez who refused to settle, who kept moving forward no matter how hard it got.
This isn't just my story.
It's a reminder that even in the hardest conditions, something great can be built.
